Unleashing FaithfulnessНамуна

This passage reminds us of the importance of sharing the stories of God’s faithfulness, love, and redemption with others. Our experiences with God are not meant to be hidden; they’re meant to be shared and commended. In fact, in many translations of this verse, the psalm states that God’s good work will be “praised.” God’s work is meant to be celebrated, exclaimed, and shared so that others can come to know Him.
This passage paints a picture of a generation exalting, praising, and boasting about God’s works to the next. We have a duty, responsibility, and privilege to commend God’s works to other people and tell them how awesome God is. The next generation will not know the works and the worth of God if the previous generation doesn’t commend His works to them. So today, think about what story of God’s faithfulness and redemption you can share with someone else. Perhaps your words may lead someone to pursue God’s love and grace for the first time.

About this Plan

It's easy to look at characters from the Bible, early church leaders, and even modern-day leaders and assume that the goal is to have an extraordinary faith. Does that mean that faithfulness is marked by the extraordinary? This devotional will look at the words Paul left for his young friend, Timothy. As someone who lived an impressive life of faithfulness himself, Paul outlined how we can do the same in every area of our lives, no matter our circumstances.
