A Slower LifeНамуна

Embracing the Goodness of Right Now
We don't want to miss the goodness that’s right in front of us.
An answered prayer won’t satisfy us if we arrive with the same rushed, restless heart we had before. Without grace and gratitude, we miss what God is doing right now, even when He’s already moving.
So I ask you:
What time is it in your life today?
What season are you in?
Take a moment to pause. Reflect. What might God be walking you through in this moment?
When we learn to honor God's timing, we become more aligned with His promises and more attuned to when they’ll arrive.
I hope that we all learn to embrace a slower life. One where:
- We wake up and watch the sunrise.
- We hear the laughter of children and see it as a sacred thing.
- We pause long enough to hug someone longer, breathe more deeply, and savor the moment.
Because in the blink of an eye, everything changes.
Journaling Prompt:
Today, take a moment to journal about all that you experienced on this day. Journal as if this is a memoir you're leaving behind for all to read. Please share it with joy, share the emotions you experienced, share it as though generations years from now will be reading.

About this Plan

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to feel behind if we’re not constantly moving. We’re pressured to meet milestones quickly, whether it is via our career choices, relationships, or purpose. We also continuously believe we are behind, which causes us to build fast and desire immediate results. But what if God invites us to a slower, more intentional pace? A Slower Life is a seven-day journey that helps us to pause, reflect, and walk with God at His pace.
