Uncharted: Ruach, Spirit of GodНамуна

"Then the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?” - Gen 3:9 (NLT)
When God asked, ‘Where are you?’, He wasn’t asking because He didn’t know where Adam and Eve were. He was asking, because He desired for them to come to him first, despite their shame. When we sin, and ‘hide ourselves from the presence of God’, there is an invitation to come out of hiding, to leave our shame and come to the Father, knowing that His presence never left you.
I encourage you; when you fall short, don’t hide yourself in shame. Come to the Lord quickly. He delights in your presence. Be quick to repent and receive His forgiveness.
Prayer:
Father, forgive me of my sin and for not coming quickly. Help me to rest in Your presence always and in Your unfailing love for me. Thank you for your forgiveness. Amen.
