Uncharted: Ruach, Spirit of GodНамуна

"Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness." - Genesis 15:6 (NIV)
As Abram sought the Lord, he not only received promises from God but also warnings of what was to come. The road ahead was filled with opposition and difficult circumstances that could have caused him to doubt. Abram needed faith.
The same is true for us. It takes seeking God to hear His promises and then looking beyond our present circumstances to the fulfilment on the other side. God told Abram, “Do not be afraid, I am your shield and your very great reward.”
Abram’s faith in God was credited to him as righteousness. The righteous person is not the one who is perfect, but the one who believes God and trusts in what He has said.
We can rely on the character of God, even when things are hard, and be fully confident that He will bring His Word to pass. This is the reward of the righteous.
Prayer:
Father, strengthen my faith today so I can receive everything You have planned for my life. Amen.
