Multiply the Mission: Scaling Your Business for Kingdom ImpactНамуна

God’s Math is Multiplication
We harvest more than we sow because multiplication is God’s principle of seed-planting. One apple seed contains a tree that can grow hundreds of apples with thousands of seeds. We don’t get an equal return when we plant one seed--we get more than we planted.
It says in 2 Corinthians 9:10 (NIV): Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.
Seed-planting is legacy-building.
God of the seed and the harvest, thank you that you make the seeds I sow grow into unimaginable harvests when I trust you with the growing process. Thank you for letting me be part of your Kingdom-building by seed-planting! In Jesus’ name, amen.
Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold because the Lord blessed him. The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy. He had so many flocks and herds and servants that the Philistines envied him.– Genesis 26:12-14 (NIV)
Most people misunderstand success. They view it as something beyond their immediate control—a lucky break that might come along, or the right person at the right time. The truth is, God gives us the tools we need to create success daily; all of us can have successful lives by focusing on the habits, decisions, and choices of today.
Paul talks about this in 2 Corinthians 9:6-8, when he discusses the sower and the seed. People who sow sparingly reap a small harvest, while people who sow generously reap a significant harvest. While Paul is speaking of a monetary gift to Judean believers, the principle transfers to all areas of our giftedness.
We should be generous with what God gives us, including the minutes we have each day.
If we mismanage our time and priorities, if we waste productive minutes God has given, we will see a small return. But if we invest our time wisely, if we use our day to its fullest, we will see a large return over time. Our future harvest of blessings and opportunities depends on what we choose to plant today.
Be a good steward with the minutes God has given you. Wisely sow seeds with your time so you can produce a generous harvest. Make today count for Him.
