God’s Vault: Reflecting on the Creation of the Sky
When David wrote Psalm 19:1, he referenced the day we read about in Genesis 1:6-8. It is the first time we hear about the creation of the sky. As you read, you will learn that God took three days, days 2-5, to create the sky as we know it and exist under it. When he made it, “God called the vault sky” as it was used to separate the water and create dry land (Genesis 1:8). As he did so, he made what we now call heaven and earth. Amidst creating our world, God still took time to reflect and saw it was all good.
Reflection Moment:
As you read today’s bible verses, look up at the sky; what do you see? Amid all that God did, He saw it was good. Can you see the good in the midst of what you are doing here on earth? Spend time praying, thanking God for His creation, and asking him to open your eyes to see the goodness in your life and surroundings.
