After the CrossНамуна

In the Book of Revelation, the apostle John sees a vision of a lot of things that have yet to happen. He’s also caught up to Heaven, where he sees four living creatures in front of God’s Throne. These mysterious beings praise the Exalted and Triumphant Jesus as the Only One worthy to open the First Seal of Judgment.
The scene is vivid, symbolic, and mysterious, but among all the mystery, one thing is clear: Love is the Currency of Heaven. The four living creatures don’t praise Jesus because He is All-Powerful or All-Knowing. In this scene—at this pivotal point in history—they worship Him for the Love He displayed on the Cross.
Jesus giving His Life on the Cross was Precious. So much so that it’s valued in Heaven. It was such a Momentous Act that the creatures before God’s Throne talk about it. It’s not just a symbol. It’s not just a nice thing someone did for you a long time ago. It’s a Game-Changer. It’s a Turning Point for every one of us.
Don’t let a day go by that you don’t value it. See it for the Precious Act that it was, yes, but also for the Great Love for you that motivated it. It got Heaven’s Attention; let it get yours too. Don’t wait for that Someday when we’ll join those creatures in Heaven; praise Jesus for His Great Love for you now, today.

About this Plan

Although crosses are common to us today, they meant something different during Jesus’ time. The cross was the ultimate form of punishment, an extremely painful form of death that was reserved for the worst of criminals. Jesus experienced this painful, humiliating form of punishment, but the Cross was just the beginning of the story. We’ll look at the significance of the Cross, but also what happened after the Cross.
