Journeying to Easter - Part 1Намуна

Lent
Life seems to be moving fast; I often feel as though I’m just hanging on and certainly never quite getting on top of things enough to be ahead. Don’t get me wrong, I love life, but it’s a rollercoaster and I occasionally feel as though I want to get off just for a second!
As humans, it’s easy to forget all that God has done for us amidst the demands of life. We often become distracted and discouraged, and it doesn’t take much to shift our focus away from Jesus. Thankfully, we are known by our creator and loved by Jesus, who, when walking this earth, was fully human like us. Because of this, He completely understands our weaknesses and regularly calls us to remember His faithfulness.
Perhaps as we set aside time each day to journey towards Easter together, we can make remembering God’s faithfulness a daily practice. In these next days and weeks leading up to Easter, we’ll explore scripture, each verse a thread in the tapestry of God’s great big redemption story – all culminating in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In this Easter season, let’s slow down and create a regular rhythm of remembrance together.

About this Plan

“In these next days and weeks leading up to Easter we’ll explore different scriptures. Each verse a thread in the tapestry of God’s great big redemption story – all culminating in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In this Easter season, let’s slow down and create a regular rhythm of remembrance together.” (Lent – Lucy Weil)
