A Year in Luke/ActsНамуна

The death of Herod is interesting; a cautionary tale in regards to receiving glory or worship. In our modernity, we don't see many people using language like “god” or "glory," but we do see "celebrity” and "popularity.” We need to be careful about receiving and chasing success for ill reasons. This is not a warding off from the pursuit of success, but rather a warning on how to receive it. The Lord deserves any of the adoration that we receive in this life.
