A Year in Luke/ActsНамуна

The way the Lord moves in this story leaves many people questioning how Peter escaped. Peter is so disbelieving that he believes it is a dream until the angel leaves him. Everyone at Mark’s home and Herod himself are also in disbelief. We then see people in the home rationalizing the announcement of Peter’s escape, calling him an angel, and Herod blaming the many soldiers he put on watch and putting them all to death.
How often does God move, and people try to explain it away as if it was some chance or forget the miracle altogether? How often do we get caught up in the blessing and forget the One who gave it?
Take the day to recount the many ways God has moved in your life.
