A Year in Luke/ActsНамуна

In the passage for today, we find the line that Jesus quotes when he is clearing out the temple courts. Notice how this is set within a passage of salvation for Gentiles. This theme of the outsiders being brought close we have seen throughout Jesus’ ministry in Luke is there throughout Scripture.
“Thus says the Lord God, who gathers the outcasts of Israel: I will gather others to them besides those already gathered.”
The plan was always for the Lord to gather people from other nations. We live in days when we can see this promise in reality. As the Church gathers, people from different cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds are joined together as one in Jesus!
