3-Minute Devotions for Teen GirlsНамуна

A Day Is Coming
One day, Jesus will come back. He will still be the Savior, but His coming means the start of something new. Earth isn’t the end of His plan. He’s created a place for each Christian in the place where He lives—heaven. What happens here is only the beginning, but it is where the greatest decision about where we will spend eternity is made. It takes faith to believe in a God we’ve never seen, who lives in a place we’ve never been, but who has always existed, always will exist, and who created our world with nothing but His words. Yet faith means we see proof of His existence in the air that we breathe, in the sun that rose this morning, in the food we eat, water we drink, friends we make, and family we love. God wants us to take our faith seriously. He wants our minds, hearts, and lives locked into following Him so that we’ll be found faithful when He returns. The best life is ahead.
Prayer: Dear God, You don’t want me to play games with my faith. I shouldn’t look at following You as the next big trend, fad, or trial offer. You’re God. Help me always understand the need to follow You. Amen.
