Defeated or Tired?
Are your steps feeling heavier today? Both in life and in service?
Are we so frustrated with the seemingly endless and alternating problems? Sometimes we even utter, 'What now? What else?'
Or do we feel that what we are facing is so heavy that we don't have the strength or creative ideas to deal with it? We feel stuck in the current situation.
We feel defeated when in fact, we are just tired.
Sometimes it’s not the burden that is too heavy, but we who are too tired. Don't keep pushing yourself when you are tired. Remember, a rested you is a better you. “A rested you is a better you.”
"You are not defeated because our lives start from the victory that Jesus accomplished on the Cross. If everything seems heavy now, you are just tired, take a rest."
Psalm 62:5 NIV : Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from Him. Come to Him in your time of tiredness and you will find rest for your soul.
Maybe the problems haven't changed, but our strength to face them has changed. Start Fresh! Maybe our struggles haven't changed, but our perspective on facing the struggles has changed! See things in a new perspective.
Remember, we are not defeated, we are just tired. There is still hope in Him who always gives strength.
