Deuteronomy (Book 5/66) – A Book of the Law
Deuteronomy is Moses' farewell address, reviewing the Law and God's faithfulness and calling the Israelites to covenant loyalty as they prepare to enter the Promised Land. The book contains prophecy about Israel’s future king and stresses love and obedience to God as central to a blessed life. Moses speaks of a prophet like himself whom God will raise up, ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
