The Apostles had a choice—obey the Jewish leaders who had sent Jesus to the cross or the God who loved them and saved them. Some people probably expected Peter to run scared like last time, but Acts 4:20 looks like it wasn’t a tough choice. “We cannot stop speaking what we have seen and heard." The good news was too good to keep their mouths shut.
Have you hesitated to share Jesus with someone because you feel awkward or scared? Think back to how you felt when you first heard. How wonderful was that good news? What great things has God done in your life since the day you gave your heart to him?
Don’t stop speaking what you’ve seen and heard. People are dying to meet this Jesus who you and I cherish.
