God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Намуна

Acts: Week 1 – Day 4
Peter’s resume didn’t point to leadership. He sank when Jesus had him walking on water. He cut off someone’s ear. He also denied even knowing Jesus. He didn’t go to seminary or college or even a leadership training seminar. The guy was a fisherman.
So how did he get nominated to deliver sermons and lead people to Jesus in the early days of the church?
All he had going for him was quality time spent with his Savior and a heart of obedience. God used those two meager offerings to transform an impulsive over-reactor into a powerful evangelist who spread the gospel far and wide. He can do the same with you and me if we will give him the same meager offerings.
