Faith, Part 1 of 3Намуна

Through faith, you become a child of God
“For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.” (Galatians 3:26)
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. If we are united with Him by faith, we too become children of God. Our new relationship to Christ gives us a new identity as a son or daughter of the Most High. What a miracle! We do not need special accomplishments, we do not have to be from a particular people group or hold a high position... If we simply believe in the Lord Jesus, we are welcomed into God's family.
To be a child of God indicates an intimate, personal relationship. The Lord God wants to be our loving, caring Father. He is interested in our well-being. He loves us.
To be a child of God also indicates a responsibility. We must not disgrace our heavenly Father with our behavior. We do not want to grieve Him by going against His will. On the contrary, the love He gives us also arouses love for Him in our hearts.
Are you a child of God? What does that mean to you, and how is it reflected in your life?
