Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year OneНамуна

Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” and call understanding your nearest kin (Proverbs 7:4).
Do you tread the path of wisdom?
The wise man says, “For at the window of my house I looked through my lattice, and saw among the simple, I perceived among the youths, a young man devoid of understanding, passing along the street near her corner; and he took the path to her house” (Proverbs 7:6-8). Our author describes a dead man walking; he lacks discretion and takes a deadly path. “Her house is the way to hell,” writes the wise man, “Descending to the chambers of death” (Proverbs 7:27). There are many avenues leading to this dark corridor. One wrong click of the mouse, a poor movie choice, or physically traveling the wrong road can lead to your demise. Your life is precious to God, so choose to walk the path of wisdom!
Employment Point: Journey down the path of wisdom to avoid self-destruction.
