God's Redemption Story (The Prophets)Намуна

Hosea – Day 4
Chapter 11 of Hosea paints a beautiful picture of God’s extraordinary love for the children of Israel. He cared for them even when they turned their backs on Him. Verse 8 almost sounds like weeping as God asks, “How can I give you up? How can I surrender you?”
God feels the same about you and me. We have all sinned and walked away from God, but He loves us too much to give up on us. In fact, verse 9 tells us that God doesn’t want to reign down His anger on us. If you’ve ever thought that you are too dirty or broken for God, if you’ve ever expected Him to throw lightning bolts at you, read this chapter again and take in this truth—God loves you!
