Everyday GodНамуна

He Sits in Traffic with Me
One of the most tedious, irritable parts of your day is sitting in traffic, sometimes for hours. If you’ve ever lived in a big city, you know exactly what I’m talking about. It’s a test of patience; that is the place you lose your holiness. I used to live 5 miles away from my house; one day, it took me 2 hours to get home (not exaggerating).
You see the worst in people in these moments; people cut you off, curse you, and that’s a light day. Things sometimes can get really ugly for no reason. So, you need a protector, company to keep you calm, keep you company, steer you away from those sinful ways.
Every morning, I listen to a Christian podcast, or devotionals, or worship music. I create a holy environment to protect me from the external noise. Not only that, I take that time to pray for my family, for my job, for my co-workers, for people who are stressed up. It’s a great way to start your day, no matter if the traffic is heavy or light.
