Twenty Five Days of Christmas DevotionsНамуна

In both ancient Greek and Hebrew tradition, the term “Word” had great significance. A person’s word was a measure of his power. His word also defined his character and declared what was on his heart. Jesus was the Word, who spoke the world into existence. Not only were all things created through Him (John 1:3) but all things are also sustained by His powerful word (Hebrews 1:3).
This powerful Word became a man and dwelt among His creation. John declares with much joy, the privilege he had of personally knowing this Word as His Lord and Saviour. He testifies to his readers, that though Jesus was all-powerful, He was full of grace and truth. Is Jesus just a part of the story of every Christmas season, who fades away with the start of a new year? Jesus invites you to come by faith to experience the fullness of His saving grace and the knowledge of the truth that sets you free.

About this Plan

There is no better season than Christmas to dwell on the reason for the season. Over the next 25 days, we will look back at some key prophecies relating to the promised Messiah. We will also observe the lives and circumstances that surrounded the birth of Jesus. Above all, we will see how Jesus makes a difference in our lives both now and forever.
