Power for LifeНамуна

Before reading the book of Philemon today, please take a moment to reflect on the BibleProject overview of Colossians that you watched a few days ago. (Included again today.) This video pointed out the connections between the book of Colossians and the book of Philemon. The slave Onesimus is at the center of this connection. As you read today, take some time to reflect on how Paul supported Onesimus through his words in Colossians 4 and in Paul's letter to Philemon. Remember that these were public letters. Paul was not ashamed to support Onesimus! Use the Notes feature in the YouVersion app to write your thoughts on these chapters. In your prayer time today, ask God if anyone in your life needs your support. If God reveals a next step for you in this area, follow Paul's model by being bold and faithful to take the step!
