Day 33: I have purpose as a messenger
We are on a very great mission, and that is to share the news of God’s grace and mercy displayed in Jesus Christ. God tasks every single believer with the mantle of a messenger. We are to declare His very great work and love – He invites us to have a purpose in building His Kingdom and seeing heaven come to earth.
Let's Pray
Jesus, thank You for this very precious and very great commission. Thank You that the gospel is for every person, for everyone to hear. Thank You for giving me this purpose: to tell other people how to become Your disciples. I am sorry for not following this great commission or believing that Your mission did not include me. Please forgive me and help me see and understand my purpose as a messenger for Your great Gospel. Please give me a desire to see people come into faith in Jesus. Show me more ways that I can serve Your Kingdom so that it can grow. Amen.
About this Plan
Knowing our identity in Christ - knowing who He says we are to Him - is one of the most powerful ways to enable ourselves to draw closer to God. Knowing our true identity is part of our roadmap to sanctification. We realise how free we truly are and how much He wants to lavish His love on us and fill our lives with purpose and meaning.
