When our enemies are after us, we may begin to question God’s whereabouts. God is very active and very near to us during difficult times. God has already anticipated our troubles and never leaves us alone without any guidance or hope. He gives us His Word for direction, counsel, and comfort. We have been given unlimited advice and help in the form of His Word. What circumstance has you doubting God’s presence and closeness? Father God, I thank You that nothing can separate me from Your love. Help me to rest in the knowledge that I am secure and safe in Your hand. Forgive my ignorance, Lord, when I question Your presence with me. I thank You, Lord, that despite the frightening circumstances I face, I stand firm in Your hand and there is nothing anyone, including myself, can ever do to change that. In Jesus’ name. Amen
