Dear Lord, I rejoice and stand amazed at Your attributes! Your power is shown in the roaring ocean and creativity in the intricacy of nature. Father, thank You for the gift of creation, for the beauty of the sunrise and the sweet smells of a forest. You show Yourself everywhere I look, and I praise You for the ways You provide for me. Please calm my soul in times of stress and help me to hold my plans loosely in my hands. I give my life as an offering to You and praise You for Your perfect provision. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Over the next forty-six days, you will embark on a journey through seven ancient spiritual disciplines. Each week, you will be introduced to a new discipline that you can add to the previous weeks. Every longer devotional will be followed by daily Scripture readings and prayers to help you go deeper.
