Dear Lord, You are gracious and compassionate, and I know this to be true. Your love is perfect, and Your anger is righteous. I desire to be near Your heart, and I ask for Your protection and guidance on how to continually draw nearer to You. I trust that what You have for my life is for my good and, more importantly, for Your glory. I thank You for the ways I have seen You protect me ... and for the times You’ve protected me when I wasn’t aware. I love You and trust You with my all. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This Lent season, we invite you to slow down and realign your focus on the sacrificial love of Christ. Over the next forty-six days, you will embark on a journey through seven ancient spiritual disciplines. Each week, you will be introduced to a new discipline that you can add to the previous weeks. Every longer devotional will be followed by daily Scripture readings and prayers to help you go deeper.
