When Faith Is Nowనమూనా

Throughout Hebrews 11, we’re reminded of the many bible heroes who “through faith, subdued kingdoms”. We may enjoy a good war movie or the idea of an old western fight between “good guys and bad guys”, but the truth is you can only subdue a kingdom or crush an enemy when you are in the middle of a fight. We need to operate with the awareness of what Kingdom we’re a part of and what’s coming against us. What’s in front of you is real, and in most cases, urgent. There is a battle being waged now for your family, for your physical health, for your children or marriage, for your financial prosperity, for your mental wellness, or for your joy. When we feel the tensions rise and the fire turned up, we must recognize quickly that it’s in these battles that our faith is at its purest and put to the test. These are the moments that count! We are not ruled by what we see, or in some cases, what is unseen. When we stand in faith with Jesus we will remain steadfast and unshaken. QUESTIONS Identify a “now” battle in which you find yourself - Which hero of faith most inspires you in this fight? What are you desperate for God to do?
