THE BIBLE CONTAINS GOD’S WILL FOR YOU AND FOR ME. As you spend time in God’s word and in prayer, your relationship with him will grow. You will begin to understand God’s character. As you get to know God’s character, you will learn how to live your life in a way that pleases him and is best for you. Following God’s plan for your life is for your benefit, not his. You can trust his will for your life. In addition to reading your Bible and praying, it’s important for you to seek God’s will through the council of a mentor, pastor, or your parents who have walked with God longer and have experienced more of his will through his word.
