Our time on Earth is short. Jesus is coming soon for our big, beautiful marriage supper, and even though we don’t know the definition of “soon” quite yet, we know that there are steps we can take now to make ourselves ready for that great and glorious day.
As we face the decades before us, lets purpose ourselves to look beyond appearance; to look beyond catchy sermon titles and hit songs and to live in an everyday reverence of our God. Honor comes from our daily commitment to growing the gardens Jesus has placed each of us in, cultivating relationships with people inside and outside the Bride of Christ. The world is waiting for a Church that lives with a consistent, truth-bearing love—a love that lasts beyond Her beauty or charm.
Let us use the time we have as a Bride preparing for her Bridegroom to bear fruit that leads our generation back to the heart of God.
