MATTEÜS 2:11

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, but we often find ourselves hustling through the holidays. This Christmas, what if we reclaimed wonder? In this 5-day Bible Plan accompanying Pastor Craig Groeschel’s series, The Gift, we’ll discover how the three gifts the wise men gave Jesus can lead us to a place of wonder and worship today.

So often, the holidays come and go before we have a chance to focus on preparing our hearts for Christmas. Advent is our way of remembering that God came to be with us, is still with us, and will come again. Over the next 5 days, we’ll examine the four Advent themes: hope, peace, love, and joy.

The Christmas story is one surprise after another. But sometimes the details become so familiar that they lose their impact. These short prayer devotionals help you to dwell deeply on the most unexpected and significant event in history: that God himself became one of us. Each prayer is written by David Mathis, executive editor for desiringGod.org and pastor at Cities Church in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Stevie Wonder je za božič napisal priljubljeno pesem z naslovom "That's What Christmas Means to Me." - "To je kar Božič pomeni zame." Marijin ponižni DA in njena poslušnost Bogu - strahoboječi Jožef privoli v težko pot - izključeni, prezirani pastirji dobijo upanje - modreci z vzhoda vztrajno sledijo zvezdi in iščejo kralja... Mi vsi se Mu zahvalimo in Ga častimo, saj nam prinaša darilo večnega življenja ! Ali ste se kdaj vprašali kaj pa VI verjamete glede božiča?
