Psalm 23නියැදිය

The Lord Is My Shepherd (Psalm 23:1)
I’ll admit it: I get lost easily. Miss one turn, and suddenly I’m driving in circles. That same helpless feeling happens in life when tragedy or fear knocks us off course. Maybe you’ve felt it when the news headlines overwhelm you, or when personal grief steals your sense of direction. Where is God when everything feels unsafe?
Psalm 23 opens with a truth we must cling to. How you are relationally connected to God. The Lord is your Shepherd. And because of that, you will not miss out on the most important thing, Him. In one short phrase, David reveals both who God is and who we are. God is the Shepherd; He leads, feeds, guards, and cares. We are the sheep, belonging fully to Him. That little word “my” makes all the difference. This isn’t distant theology; it’s a relationship.
When David is not promising an easy life, he’s declaring that, because the Shepherd owns him, he lacks nothing essential. In Christ, our true Shepherd, ownership means care. Jesus laid down His life for us. If He gave His life, won’t He also supply what we truly need?.
When God is your source, lack loses its voice.
Respond to God’s Word:
Identify one area of life where you’ve been striving for control, finances, relationships, or security. Today, pray and release that area to Jesus, trusting Him as your Shepherd who provides.
