Patience

Patience is the wide mercy of God,
a calm that stretches beyond anger,
waiting, patiently,
for grace to take root.

It is the quiet strength
to stand in the unfinished place,
to hold the door of grace open
while another finds their way.

Patience does not rush the seed.
It trusts the hidden work of growth,
welcoming the slow turning
of hearts and seasons.

Patience is the Spirit’s steady gift,
teaching us to wait with God
until all things come to light.
