Finishing Strong

Paul wrote this particular scripture to his spiritual son Timothy near the end of his life. Looking back, he could say with confidence that he had fought faithfully, endured trials, and stayed true to Christ. It wasn't a perfect race, but finishing strong meant keeping the faith until the very end.

Your college years are a season of your life. It's almost like a race within the larger race. One day you’ll walk across a stage with a diploma in your hand, but the bigger question will always be: Did I keep the faith? Finishing strong in college means you stayed faithful to Jesus in the highs and lows, even though you stumbled.

There are a few ways that you can hold on to your faith and finish strong such as carving out time for prayer and Scripture even when it feels like there is no time, try to make time, check in with your Christian friends or mentors to keep you grounded, and remind yourself that what matters most isn’t your achievements but staying faithful to Jesus in every season.
