Awestruck: 30 Days of Wonder in the Bible

30 න් 3 වන දිනය

Among all the wonders of creation, one stands apart: God made humanity in His image.

Think about that for a moment.

The same God who painted sunsets and carved mountains chose to place His likeness in people. Not because He had to, but because He wanted us to reflect Him into the world. His love and creativity are meant to shine through us.

In the ancient world, kings would set up statues to mark their territory and show their rule. But the living God did something astonishing. He didn't choose stone or metal to represent His likeness. He made people—male and female—as His living representatives, carrying His authority, creativity, and dignity into every corner of creation.

I think about this sometimes when I catch myself in the mirror on a rough day, or when I'm feeling small and insignificant. It's easy to let circumstances or other people's opinions define our worth. But here's the truth that stops me: your worth doesn't rest on what you accomplish or how others see you. It flows from who you are. Beloved child of the King who rules everything.

Every time you look in the mirror or look into the eyes of another person, you glimpse the wonder of the God who chose living images to reveal Himself. That's not just poetic language. That's who you are. You were made to receive and then reflect God's heart to the world around you.

Reflect:

How does this truth stir your sense of wonder toward God?

Tomorrow we'll discover the most intimate wonder of all—God doesn't just create us, He chooses to walk with us.
