Coming to Life: 30-Day Devotionalනියැදිය

The Sermon on the Mount
The Sermon on the Mount is Jesus’ longest recorded teaching, and it reveals the upside-down values of the kingdom of God. The Beatitudes open with blessings for those the world overlooks: the poor in spirit, the meek, the merciful, the persecuted.
Jesus calls His followers to be salt and light, shining His truth into the world. He teaches us to pray for God’s kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth. He reminds us not to be consumed with worry, but to seek first God’s kingdom and trust that He will provide.
The Sermon ends with a challenge: it is not enough to hear His words; we must do them. Those who build on His teaching are like a house on the rock, secure against the storms.
This teaching is not a list of impossible ideals but a picture of life under God’s reign. It is life that looks like Jesus: humble, merciful, pure, faithful, and rooted in love.
The Sermon on the Mount invites us to reimagine what true blessing and true righteousness look like. It calls us to live differently because the kingdom has come near.

The Bible isn’t just a collection of stories—it’s one story, and it all points to one Savior. It all ties together! This 30-day journey won’t give you every answer, but it will help you see how God’s Word comes alive in His love, His promises, and His plan. My prayer is that as you read, you’ll find yourself coming to life in Him.
