Meditating on God's Greatnessනියැදිය

Total dependence on God
“Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalm 46:10 ESV).
In a man-centered world, many believe that everything depends on self-effort. Even in the church, we rely on plans and strategies to grow. However, several psalms remind us that real power comes from God, not from our strength. His right hand and favor led Israel to victory.
When we face challenges, the temptation to lean on our abilities can blind us. Instead, the Lord invites us to “be still” and recognize that He is God, exalted among the nations and glorified in all things. As we humble ourselves, we understand that everything we have and achieve is by His grace and for His glory.
If we accept being instruments in the hands of a sovereign God, our vision changes: challenges and obstacles become opportunities to depend on His power. To diminish our victories would be an act of ingratitude. Let us embrace His sovereignty and praise Him as the only King and protector of His people.
