Testimonies of Pastors' Kidsනියැදිය

By Aaron Acevedo, Rosa De Saron
I came to Christ in late 2019, just before COVID. Things were bleak. I had lost my job, my car, and all of my close friends. All I had left was my family.
In that time, I realized that what I once thought was important wasn’t important at all. None of it answered the fundamental question: Why am I even here? I didn’t fit in anymore. I felt like a burden to my family, without a job or a car, relying on no one else. By the world’s standards, I was useless—a failure.
In that despair, Christ found me. Psalm 40:2 (NIV) says, “He took me out of the miry clay and set my feet on a rock.” God gave me worth. He gave me a reason when I had none. I began reading the Bible, and I saw my life reflected in His Word. Verses like 1 Peter 3:9 (NIV), “Do not repay evil with evil, but repay evil with good,” and Ephesians 5:3-7, which warns against being deceived by the world, challenged me to change. I was called to repent and walk humbly with God.
I realized why God allowed everything to fall apart in my life. I had been partnering with evil, and rather than letting me face its consequences, He showed mercy and gave me a better way—His way.
I pray that anyone reading this understands that God calls us to repentance and to believe in His gospel. We are to follow Him, not religion, opinions, or human standards. His Word is a lamp to our feet. If you want a straight path, follow Him alone, for He is the way, the truth, and the life. No one reaches the Father except through Him.
