God of the in Betweenනියැදිය

No matter if you’re in a giant cruise ship crossing the ocean or in a tiny, swan-shaped paddle boat peddling from one side of a pond to the other, at some point, you’ll be in the middle. Perhaps you’ve never seen the distant shoreline or experienced its soft sandy beach. Maybe the sea is so big you can’t even get a glimpse of the other side.

And maybe that’s where you are in life. Maybe you’ve been praying for healing and - smack dab in the middle of a sea of symptoms - you aren’t sure where or when you’ll land on God’s promise. You might be in between where you once were and where you feel God has called you to be. Perhaps you are in the middle of life change, the hope of opportunities, or a next step you don’t even see.

No matter where you are on the journey of the in between, God is with you. Even if you can’t see Him or feel Him. When Jesus said to the disciples, “Let’s go,” that’s exactly what He meant. Let us, you and I, together, go to the other side. In the middle of the calmness or chaos, clarity or confusion, God is there.
