Simple Prayer: How to Pray Like Jesusනියැදිය

Forgive and Protect Us
A New Heart
Read: Psalm 130
"If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you." (Psalm 130:3–4 NIV)
Devotional Thought:
Forgiveness is not just about wiping the slate clean—it’s about transformation. Psalm 130 speaks of forgiveness that leads us into awe and service. When we truly receive God’s mercy, our hearts are changed. We begin to serve—not out of guilt, but out of gratitude for the forgiveness we have experienced.
Reflection Activity (Examen Step: Look Forward with Hope):
As you prepare for tomorrow, ask God: Where do I need your help to live differently? What grace do I need to receive or extend? Invite Him to shape your steps with mercy.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for forgiving my wrongs. Teach me to live in your grace and to be a person of forgiveness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
