Simple Prayer: How to Pray Like Jesusනියැදිය

Forgive and Protect Us
God’s Compassion and Patience
Read: Psalm 103
"The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love." (Psalm 103:8 NIV)
Devotional Thought:
God’s mercy is not a one-time gift; it’s the rhythm of His relationship with us. He forgives again and again, not because we deserve it but because that is who He is. When we struggle to forgive ourselves, Psalm 103 reminds us that God already has. We are invited to receive that compassion—and to share it.
Reflection Activity (Examen Step: Notice Your Heart):
As you review your day, where did you act out of love? Where did you act out of fear, pride, or self-protection? Ask God to meet you in those places with compassion and to shape your heart more like His.
Prayer:
Father, thank you for your great love and patience. Help me rest in your forgiveness and extend that same grace to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
