A Word to the Wiseනියැදිය

Godly Wisdom
Do you still have an expectation that God is with you in tribulation?
How would you respond if God confronted and questioned you?
Elihu accomplishes two main things with his speech:
- He proposes that wisdom isn’t a what, but a who.
- Wisdom is not found in what we know but rather in that we know Him.
Worldly knowledge puffs up, but Godly knowledge (which is love) builds up. Job deals with this distinction as he wonders where true wisdom is found.
We are wise when we trust in God, and Godly wisdom starts with the fear of the LORD.
God questions Job in the last 3 chapters. After questioning Job, he is humbled and lovingly responds to God by worshipping and admitting that he spoke of things he didn’t understand.
Our prayer for you is that you will pursue Godly wisdom by trusting Him and by having the fear of the LORD in your life. May His awesomeness and glory humble you and move you to worship and adoration.
