Christianity in a Nutshellනියැදිය

Jesus Christ marked a turning point for humanity through his life, death, and resurrection. The kingdom he taught about and established defied all earthly standards, characterized by selfless love that transcended cultural and geographical boundaries.
Jesus, as God incarnate, experienced the full spectrum of human existence including temptation and suffering. And yet, he lived perfectly without sin. Jesus became our ultimate companion by willingly embracing all humanity's sin upon himself when he died on the cross and rose again. The Bible writer Paul articulates the significance of the resurrection, stating that if Jesus did not rise from the dead, Christians are to be pitied more than anyone in the world. But if Jesus did rise, it changes everything. It means he has triumphed over the powers of sin and evil, affirming his claims of deity and ensuring our ultimate destiny.
Reflect:
Does this description of Jesus match anything you’ve heard before? What was new to you from today’s video and reading?
Do you think Jesus died and rose again? If it were true, what do you think would be the significance of that event for you today?
