God wants to have a close relationship with us. But because he’s perfect and we’re not, our connection with him is broken. God didn’t want anything to stand in the way of our relationship with him, so he decided to come to Earth as a person named Jesus.

Jesus is the only man in history to live a perfect life, without any sin. He restored our broken relationship with God and earned us forgiveness by dying on our behalf, taking the fall for our sins and mistakes. Although God is perfect and wants us to be perfect, he understands that we’re not and loves us anyway, thanks to Jesus.

God created Heaven as an incredible place for perfect people to be with him. By believing the truth that Jesus paid the price of our sins, we can know that we will go to heaven when we die, even though we don’t deserve to be there. Knowing what our future holds gives us hope now and forever.
