The book of Timothy is a letter Paul, a missionary, wrote to his friend Timothy explaining the meaning and importance of the Bible. Nearly 2,000 years later, Paul’s words have held true – the Bible is the most influential book in history!

The Bible can seem like a big, daunting book to read, but at its core, it is actually a bunch of smaller books written by nearly 40 authors over more than 1,000 years. Together they tell one story: how to live as a follower of God.

The Bible is how God speaks to us and shows us his love. Every word was inspired, or given to the writers by God to guide us through our lives so we can live to the full potential that he has planned for us.
