Real Hope: Finding Hope in Isaiahනියැදිය

Perfect Peace
Our will is vitally important in accessing God’s peace – His perfect peace. We need to come into God’s presence intentionally.
Jesus said, ‘Come to me’ – ‘Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation] (Matthew 11:28 AMP).
Peace means wholeness: peace with God, with ourselves, our circumstances, with our past, and with our future. But holding onto our peace can be difficult at times, so we need God’s peace to be in our lives every day. Every day you can experience and feel God’s presence and peace when you abide in Him – through abiding in His Word and prayer.
As you pay attention to His Word and digest it, His Word brings peace. There are always things to worry about when you wake up in the morning. If we focus on our problems, they’ll seem gigantic. But as we focus on God, we see our situation in perspective and are assured the Lord Himself, our rock eternal, is in control. Isaiah declares perfect peace awaits those who trust in God. Through prayer, you can direct your mind, surrender what’s weighing on your shoulders to His, replacing worry with God’s peace. You haven’t ignored the difficulties, but the knowledge of God’s presence prevents you from becoming discouraged. It’s impossible to stand in His presence and focus on anything other than Him.
