Perfect Father, we know that we make mistakes often. We know that we need your perfection to cover us. Please soften our hearts. Help us maintain an attitude of humility. Especially with our children, we want to be quick to recognize our mistakes and quick to ask for forgiveness. When we do the wrong thing, help us to seek restitution in a way that honors you and prioritizes our kids. In times when we are stubborn or selfish, lead us back to you with kindness. May we never be too proud for correction or too frustrated to seek healing in our relationships. We want to be a model for our children of how to put the needs of others before personal gain. We know that as we embrace humility, you will take care of all we need.
