THE WATER OF HIS WORD

Read Matthew 14:31-33.

REFLECT

What are your doubts? What are your fears? Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God? Do you love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength? Tell Him you want to live what you believe. Tell Him you want Him to truly be your Lord even if you are afraid. Will you confess all of your doubts, all of your fears, all of your unbelief? Pray to the Lord using Psalm 41, Psalm 42, or Psalm 43 and confess any doubts, fears, unbelief, or love of self instead of love of God.

FOCUS THE EYES OF YOUR HEART

Prayerfully consider and then try to recite Matthew 14:31-33 from memory.

Matthew 14:31-33: "Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, 'O you of little faith, why did you doubt?' And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, 'Truly you are the Son of God.'"
