Who You Say I Am - Part 1Mostră

As children of God we have the most perfect Father in Heaven. God loves His children, we are His children not because of anything we've done but because He made us His children. Just like a dad loves to spend time with his children, God loves to spend time with us! I am who God says I am and He says I am His child. I am a child of God.  

When we know we are children of God, we don't live by what others say about us, we live by what God says about us. God's voice means more than the voices of others, so we don't need to be worried about what others may say. We've been learning that we are who God says we are, and we've learned so far that God says we are chosen, we are not alone and we are His children. In the Bible we discover who we really are! 

God calls you His child. He loves you and cherishes you as His child. We are welcome and have a place to belong in God's family. When the children came to Jesus, the disciples tried to keep them away but Jesus said, "Let them come to me!" He welcomes us with open arms, we don't have to be good enough, work hard enough or look the part to belong in God's family. We are children of the Most High! 

If you ever feel like you don't belong, it's in those times we can remind ourselves that we are children of God and declare, “I am a child of God.”
