Have you looked at your screen time lately? It happens to all of us—hours of TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat add up really quickly. Before we know it, we’ve spent hours, maybe even days of our week scrolling through apps that literally do their best to take our attention from the world around us. “Worthless” is a harsh word to describe this reality, but when you stop to think about the time you’ll never get back, that hilarious cat meme doesn’t seem all that important. 

So, what if we chose to be intentional with the time we have? Yes, there will still be plenty of time for scrolling, but you’ll find a lot of other time for valuable activities like studying Scripture, connecting in deep relationships, and enjoying the world outside your window. 

Today, talk to someone you respect and trust and ask them for guidance in how to prioritize your time and attention.
