Jesus continually gave up His time, preferences, comfort, and reputation for the sake of His friends. He even took the time to kneel down and wash the filthy feet of his friends at the end of His life. He ultimately laid down His own life so that His friends could have eternal life and a full life on earth.

What does laying down your life for your friends look like? Maybe it’s helping others with homework when it costs you some of your own time. Maybe it’s getting up to do the dishes when you have five minutes left in your favorite TV show. Or maybe even putting down your phone to really listen to your friend when they are having a tough day.

What can you lay down or give up to better love your friends today?
